Hi! Results from a bone density test…osteoporosis in right hip, osteopenia in left. I am almost 60 years old and not on any medications. I take vitamin supplements, “jump” daily on a rebounder, and try to eat healthy. How much CA and vitamin D should I be taking to stop my bone loss?
Any other suggestions? Thanks!
I do not want to take Fosamax or similar medications. What else (vitamins)can I take that will protect my bones. My local pharamcist related that taking vitamin K can increase my risk of stroke.
Thanks so much!!!

Suzy’s book has excellent info, re: STRONTIUM for bone health. It does not have those terrible side effects.
Do an internet search on “STRONTIUM for bones” — and also do that search right here, on Suzy’s website.
I have been taking Strontium for 6 months, am lifting weights and greatly improved my very low Vitamin D — which can also account for some bone loss. So I am anxious to see, after one year has passed, what this bone density test shows.
All the best!
Had Hip replacement a year ago. Now taking Strontium to help bones strengthen! Hope it works.
I’ve been taking Evista for several years for my osteoporosis. I took Fosomax and Actonol for a while before that. Can Evista cause death of the jaw bone? I wonder if I should stop taking Evista now, and rely on calcium supplements, exercise at the gym and daily walking.
